Congratulations to Southside Head Coach Vicente Cavalcanti for winning silver at the recent BJJ World Championship in CA, USA.
I dont really care if i win or lose when i compete, what i care about is knowing that i did my best, not just on the competition day but more importantly during my preparation for the comp.
Did i sacrifice my time to get prepared?
Did i overcome my injuries?
Did i follow my training program even on the days i was tired?If i did all those things, stayed focus and determined through the tough times, im already a champion, maybe i wont win the gold medal, but i did my best and i know it.
